Morro’s natural film for personal care products
Morro soluble film can also replace single-serve flexible plastic packaging in personal care products, such as sachets of shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser.
Morro material has the high-strength properties and oxygen barriers needed to protect personal care products, replacing single-use plastic for good.
Morro plastic-free dishwasher and detergent tablet wrappers
Most dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent pods come wrapped in a ‘soluble’ plastic called PVOH, which dissolves in water after the tablet has been used. However, a mounting body of research shows the material leaves chemical residue behind, potentially polluting natural water systems.
Morro’s plant based film is a plastic-free alternative. Once used, the material rapidly biodegrades in marine and freshwater environments into small proteins and amino acids that are safe for wildlife to eat.
A drop-in solution, Morro’s soluble film can be wrapped around the product with standard film-forming and flow-wrapping industry equipment.
